It is always interesting to see your hand dyed fibers after

they have been created into new items whether that is hand

spun yarns or needle felted projects, here Jennifer has

shared the first yarn she has made from some of my hand

dyed rovings.

These Curls have only been lightly washed and have not been scoured or dyed, even though they will contain some vm at this point they have such a pretty shine to them I just had to share a pic!

 Here are a few pics of the Locks being kettle dyed. The pink are BFL and the orange are from a cross bred sheep. Eventually they will make their way into my Etsy shop.

Raw Bfl Fleece ~ My next project! :}

Here are pics of my next project, raw BFL fleece that I will be washing and probably dyeing lots of pretty colors! This is what raw unwashed fleece right off the sheeps back looks like before washing. It has to be sorted and washed good before dyeing.

I am pretty pleased at how Soft this Targhee is, it is next to skin soft! :} Having alot of fun dying up batches of roving, here are a few pics of the Targhee...

It is 100% sheep wool, a blend of Targhee and other fine breeds. This can be handspun, felted or used for other crafts.
